With life being confined to the walls of my townhouse, it’s been a bit difficult to keep myself occupied. Between doing schoolwork, painting empty bottles and cans, and firing up the ol’ Netflix app, I have one responsibility: to eat!
As the great Chef Gusteau from Disney’s Ratatouille says, “Anyone can cook!” and what I decide to cook up often to satisfy my cravings is a less-cool version of Tyler, The Creator’s cinnamon-sugar waffles, or what I like to call…
Tyler, The Creator’s Cinnamon Sugar Waffles on a Budget
If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend heading to Youtube and searching for Tyler, The Creator on The Greatest Cooking Show Ever. He details his intense waffle-making skills and how to perfect the golden-brown sugaryness. However, for those of us who are too tired to cook up perfection, I am sharing my on-the-budget Tyler, The Creator’s waffles.
What you Need:
- 2 Eggo Waffles
- Cinnamon
- Butter
- Toaster
- Knife
- Plate
What to Do:
- Pop the two eggo waffles in the toaster and set to whatever crispiness setting you please.
- Grab the butter and the knife.
- Once the waffles pop up, put them on a plate, and immediately spread the butter all over the waffles until they are nicely coated.
- Once you are done spreading the butter, lightly shake the cinnamon over the waffles. Make sure you coat it lightly because you will otherwise taste a cinnamon overload. However, if that’s what you like, go crazy with the cinnamon!
- Eat and enjoy!!
This is a very flexible recipe that in any way, shape, or form, always seems to result in cinnamon-sugary goodness! I hope this waffle recipe brings you happiness, much like Tyler, The Creator brought me when I first discovered the YouTube video. Stay safe and stay strong, Vikings!
